A new Sharp tradition (started last year) is to see a Christmas show. Last year, Addison and Mommy went on a date to see "The Nutcracker" by the Louisville Ballet. This year, we all went.
Addison really wanted Lily to go and even picked out her dress. He insisted it had to have roses on it. Lily sat up tall when the Executive Director came out for opening remarks and clapped and smiled broadly in all the right places.
Addison asked a lot of questions during the show - mostly because he was trying to understand the story since there obviously wasn't a narration. Addison was concerned during the battle with the mice and upset that they were scaring Clara - he let out a loud, menacing "Aaaaggghhhhrrrr!!!!!!!!". He said he was trying to scare the mice so that they would leave her alone. I'm not sure about the mice, but his Mommy & Daddy were very startled!
We all very much enjoyed such a very special holiday event.
