Mommy loves Christmas and thinks with all of the hustle and bustle that the time in which to enjoy Christmas music, stories, movies, etc. should not be limited to the month of December. This does not equate to the commercialization of Christmas. Daddy, being cognizant of the commercialization of Christmas, and stemming from his desire to not belittle Thanksgiving, prefers to wait until after the turkey is gone before enjoying the Christmas season. So, the Sharp family has decided on November 15 for music, stories, movies, etc., but the decorations do not go up until after Thanksgiving. This is the compromise.
Addison was thrilled to unearth a box of Christmas stories. He really likes the Polar Express and The Christmas Story (about the birth of baby Jesus). His favorite song this year was Rudolph (big surprise), but he really didn't like that Rudolph's "friends" called him names and wouldn't play with him. Daddy broke out the clay-mations and Addison gladly substituted his 30 minutes a day with Rudolph or Frosty the Snowman.
