Gobble, Gobble!

We kicked Thanksgiving off this year in Fort Wayne with Nanny, Tammy, Paulie & Baron. Our first stop was to Baron's hockey game... we were late, but got to catch him in action for the end of the game. Later that evening, we made it to Paulie's hockey game, but since he decided to level the goalie, he was in the penalty box for a good portion of the game. At least he was still smiling.

We had a nice dinner, ate too much, and some of us fell victim to tryptophan rather early. I love this picture of Lily and the boys.

We were very blessed this year to have Grandma & Grandpa come visit along with Jason, Alex, Brock & Adriana. Another feast! Grandma chose a 30 lb. turkey again this year. And, again, it spilled juice all over the place because the pan was too flimsy. :) Let's call it a tradition.

The kids really enjoyed all playing together. It was cute to see how Addison looks up to Alex and Lily and Brock were drawn to each other. Adriana is so in love with her Daddy.

Alex really wanted a leg of turkey and it became a bit of joke given that it was the leg of not just any turkey, but of a 30 lb. turkey. The kids were passing it around. Lily won the best drama award with this picture!

And, then we went to the park to feed the ducks and play on the playground. What a great way to spend an afternoon with family!

Last, but not least, we must pay homage to the continuation of "Lily's mouth tricks" ...
... to being the last one to accept that Winter has arrived...

... and to the extra mile we ladies must go to pee on the go...
