As the smoldering summer sun shined down upon us, the Louisville At-home Dads (L.A.D.s) had a blast along the Ohio River last Wednesday. The boys romped around the playgrounds and ran through the water fountains as the girls sat and had a chat. Of course the dads, or men in this case, discussed the things that REALLY matter in life... our children, our wives and our fantasy football draft picks!
This park is pretty awesome as it allows the children to play on their choice of four different playgrounds ranging in sizes. It also has a sandbox, several different water fountains, a huge grassy hill to climb and a bouncy canoe. Oh yeah, the Ohio River is in the background, which carries some pretty cool boats on it too! And the best feature of this park is the local coffee house that is just right around the corner. By the way, the bridge in the background will soon be a walking bridge to connect Jeffersonville, Indiana with Louisville, Kentuck, so we will be able to walk to the park instead of swimming across the river!! Just kidding:)
